And, if you still are not blinking at that speed, remember that it is a vertical speed, not a horizontal one. The 500-feet per minute might be something you might not feel at top speed, but your body will certainly feel it when the elevator is just getting started, or slowing down. Enjoy your G-forces well.

Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators

Finally, you can also opt for a pneumatic vacuum elevator. If your ideal home is going to be powered by environment-friendly energy, the pneumatic vacuum elevator will be a good choice, especially since these are designed for as little energy consumption as possible.
